Lifestyle and adherence to antihypertensive treatment in older adults from external cardiology offices of a public hospital, Lima 2022

Abstract

The present project has as objective: To determine the relationship between lifestyle and adherence to antihypertensive treatment in patients from cardiology outpatient clinics of a public hospital, Lima 2023. Methods: the study will apply an applicative method, will follow a quantitative paradigm, it will have a cross-sectional design and correlational scope. The sample will consist of 207 patients with arterial hypertension who are treated in outpatient clinics. Two surveys and two nationally validated and reliable questionnaires will be used to measure the study variables and with the target population. The collected data will be processed in the SPSS version 28 program. Inferential statistics will be performed through Spearman's Rho and approve the hypothesis.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo: determinar la relación entre el estilo de vida y la adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo en adultos mayores de consultorios externos de cardiología de un hospital público, Lima 2022. Métodos: el estudio aplicará un método aplicativo, seguirá un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño transversal y correlacional. La muestra constará de 250 pacientes adultos mayores con hipertensión arterial que se atienden en los consultorios externos. Se utilizarán dos encuestas y dos cuestionarios validados y confiables a nivel nacional para medir las variables del estudio y con la población objetivo. Los datos reunidos serán procesados en el programa SPSS versión 28. Se realizarán estadísticos inferenciales a través Rho de Spearman y aprobar la hipótesis
