Application of non-pharmacological techniques for pain management in pediatric patients, by the nursing staff of a national hospital, Lima 2020

Abstract

The current research study has the characteristics of the quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional methodological design, since the variable was calculated at a specific and unique moment, with the results of which an analysis of the nursing intervention in the management of the pain with non-pharmacological techniques. The level is applicative, since it will allow creating fundamental information for the execution of new protocols that involve methods other than the non-pharmacological aspect, in order to relieve pain in pediatric patients.

El actual estudio de investigación posee las características del enfoque cuantitativo, diseño metodológico descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal, ya que la variable se calculó en un momento determinado y único, con cuyos resultados se efectúo un análisis de la intervención enfermera en el manejo del dolor con técnicas no farmacológicas. El nivel es aplicativo, ya que admitirá crear información fundamental para la ejecución de protocolos nuevos que involucren métodos distintos al aspecto no farmacológico, con el fin del alivio del dolor en los pacientes pediátricos.
