Self-care and quality of life of patients in renal replacement therapy at a private clinic in Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between self-care and the quality of life of the patient in renal replacement therapy in a private clinic in Lima in 2023, methodologically it is circumscribed, under the positivist, descriptive, explanatory and cross-sectional approach, the sample was made up of 90 patients between men and women in stage V, to whom two duly validated and reliable questionnaires were applied. To demonstrate the results, we will first seek to know the normal distribution of the variables using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) normality test, which interprets the values of the Sig., Asymptotic Sig. > =< 0.5. If the KS result is > 0.5, parametric tests will be used and the Pearson correlation and the chi square statistic will be performed to test hypotheses. 2. Asymptotic Sig < 0.5 for the correlation of the variables. In this case, non-parametric tests and Spearman correlation will be used; and to test hypotheses, the Shapiro Will statistician. In addition, the results will be expressed in tables, figures and scatter diagrams. These results will be expressed in frequency tables, scatter diagrams.

La presentes investigación tuvo por objetivo Determinar la relación entre el autocuidado y la calidad de vida del paciente en terapia de reemplazo renal en una clínica privada de Lima en el 2023, metodológicamente se circunscribe, bajo el enfoque positivista, descriptivo, explicativo y de corte transversal, la muestra estuvo conformada por 90 pacientes entre varones y mujeres en estadio V, a quienes se les aplico dos cuestionarios debidamente validados y confiables. Para demostrar los resultados se buscará en primera instancia conocer la distribución normal de las variables mediante la prueba de normalidad de Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS), la cual interpreta los valores de la Sig., Asintótica Sig. > =< 0.5. Si el resultado de KS es > 0.5 se utilizará pruebas paramétricas y se realizará la correlación de Pearson y el estadístico de chi cuadrado para contrastar hipótesis. 2. Sig. Asintótica < 0.5 para la correlación de las variables. En este caso, se utilizará pruebas no paramétricas y la correlación de Spearman; y para contrastar hipótesis, el estadístico de Sápido Will. Además, los resultados se expresarán en tablas, figuras y diagramas de dispersión. Estos resultados se expresarán en tabla de frecuencias, diagramas de dispersión.
