Level of knowledge and practice of the nurse in the kangaroo method used in the neonatology unit of the Víctor Ramos Guardia Hospital, Huaraz 2022

Abstract

Objective: Establish the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of the nursing staff in the kangaroo method used in the neonatology unit of the Víctor Ramos Guardia Hospital, Huaraz 2022. Methodology: The quantitative approach will be considered, of applied type, with level correlational and cross-sectional. The entire population will be taken as a sample, which will be 95 nursing professionals from the Hospital studied, where a questionnaire will be applied for the level of knowledge of the kangaroo method and an observation guide for the practice of nursing staff in the kangaroo method, said instruments. It has a validity and reliability of the Richardson Kuder coefficient, obtaining 0.767 and 0.787 for the instruments. The information will then be processed using the IBM SPS version program to obtain the descriptive and inferential analysis in order to establish the findings and the degree of the correlation coefficient between both variables studied.

Objetivo: Establecer la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y práctica del personal de enfermería en el método de canguro empleado en la unidad de neonatología del Hospital Víctor Ramos Guardia, Huaraz 2022. Metodología: Se considerará el enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, con nivel correlacional y de corte trasversal. Se tomará como muestra la totalidad de la población que serán 95 profesionales de enfermería del Hospital estudiado, donde se aplicarán un cuestionario para el nivel conocimiento del método canguro y una guía de observación para la práctica del personal de enfermería en el método canguro, dichos instrumentos cuenta con una validez y confiabilidad del coeficiente de Richardson Kuder obteniendo 0.767 y 0.787 para los instrumentos. Luego se procesarán la información mediante el programa IBM SPS versión para obtener el análisis descriptivo e inferencial para poder establecer los hallazgos y el grado del coeficiente de correlación entre ambas variables estudiadas.
