Self-care and quality of life of the patient undergoing hemodialysis treatment at a national hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine how Self-care is related to the quality of life of the patient undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Materials and methods: a non-experimental correlational quantitative study, using the hypothetical-deductive method of the applied type. The population will be made up of 95 patients who make up all the shifts that are attended in the hemodialysis unit; Because the population is small, it becomes a census sample for research according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique to be used will be the survey, 2 instruments validated in previous studies will be applied to collect the information that will respond to the hypotheses, quantitative measurements and statistical analyzes will be made to determine the predictions or behavior of the phenomena or problems raised, to through descriptive and inferential statistics, and the hypotheses will be verified with the Spermam RHO test. Throughout the investigation, a research conduct will be maintained in accordance with ethical principles.

Objetivo: Determinar como el Autocuidado se relaciona con la calidad de vida del paciente en tratamiento de hemodiálisis. Materiales y métodos: un estudio cuantitativo correlacional no experimental, utilizando el método hipotético deductivo de tipo aplicada. La población estará constituida por 95 pacientes que conforman todos los turnos que se atienden en la unidad de hemodiálisis; la población por ser pequeña se convierte en una muestra censal para la investigación de acuerdo con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. La técnica a utilizar será la encuesta, se aplicará 2 instrumentos validados en estudios previos para recolectar la información que dará respuesta a las hipótesis planteadas se harán mediciones cuantitativas y análisis estadísticos para determinar las predicciones o el comportamiento, de los fenómenos o problemas planteados, a través de la estadística descriptiva e inferencial, y se comprobaran las hipótesis con la prueba RHO de Sperman, Durante toda la investigación se mantendrá una conducta de investigación apegada a los principios éticos
