Knowledge about the care of polytraumatized patients and nursing practice in the emergency area of a hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine how the knowledge about the care of the polytraumatized patient is related to the nursing practice Methodology: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, cross-sectional correlational non-experimental design, the population for this project will take all the Nursing Staff, made up of 90 elements, because it is a small and manageable population, the entire population will be taken, transforming it into a census sample. For data collection, two instruments will be used: Questionnaire on care of polytraumatized patients and a checklist for nursing practice. Said instruments were used in another Peruvian study, validated by experts and with reliability, on the other hand, once the information is collected, the data will be processed in the statistical program SPSS V26, frequency tables, tables and/or graphs will be obtained; In addition, the hypotheses will be contrasted with Spearman's Rho Statistical Correlation Test, having a significance level of p < 0.05.

Objetivo: Determinar cómo el conocimiento sobre el cuidado del paciente politraumatizado se relaciona con la práctica de enfermería Metodología: El método será hipotético–deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental correlacional de corte transversal, La población para este proyecto se tomará todo el Personal de Enfermería, conformado por 90 elementos, por ser una población pequeña y manejable se tomará toda la población transformándose en muestra censal. Para la recolección de datos se utilizarán dos instrumentos Cuestionario de sobre cuidado del paciente politraumatizado y una lista de cotejo para la práctica de enfermería. Dichos instrumentos fueron utilizados en otro estudio peruano, validado por expertos y con confiabilidad, por otra parte, una vez recolectada la información, los datos serán procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS V26, se obtendrán tablas de frecuencia, tablas y/o gráficos; además, las hipótesis serán contrastadas con la Prueba Estadística de Correlación Rho de Spearman, teniendo un nivel de significancia de p < 0.05.
