Importance of psycho-education in parents of patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder for the improvement of associated symptoms

Abstract

Systematization of evidence on the importance of psychocoeducation in parents of patients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder for the improvement of associated symptoms. Material and methods: A systematic observational and retrospective review, quantitative and qualitative, was carried out, which was subject to critical ranking using the GRADE system to identify the degree of quality of the evidence found in the following databases: BVS, Scielo , Pubmed, Redalyc, Cochrane and Google scholar. Of the 10 studies systematically reviewed, it was found that: 20% (n= 2/10) are systematic reviews, another 70% (n= 7/10) are experimental, and 10% (n= 1/10) are experimental design. qualitative. They come from the countries of Spain (40%), the USA (20%), Peru (20%), England (10%) and Brazil (10%).

Sistematización de la evidencia sobre la importancia de la psi coeducación en padres de pacientes con Trastorno por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad para la mejora de los síntomas asociados. Material y métodos: Se realizó una revisión sistemática observacional y retrospectiva, de tipo cuantitativa y cualitativa, que estuvo sujeto a jerarquización crítica valiéndose del sistema GRADE para la identificación del grado de calidad de las evidencias halladas en las siguientes bases de datos: BVS, Scielo, Pubmed, Redalyc, Cochrane y Google académico. De los 10 estudios revisados sistemáticamente se encontró que: el 20% (n= 2/10) son revisiones sistemáticas, otro 70% (n= 7/10) experimentales y el 10 % (n= 1/10) diseño experimental de tipo cualitativo. Proceden de los países de España (40%), E.E.U.U (20%), Perú (20%), Inglaterra (10%) y Brasil (10%).
