Knowledge in neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the nursing professional at the Vitarte hospital, 2021

Abstract

Neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a method by which immediate intervention is performed in the event of cardiorespiratory arrest in the neonate, will be carried out sequentially, after evaluating the situation, adequate management of the airways, breathing and chest compressions at the required time. This intervention allows the newborn to recover quickly, guaranteeing growth without complications. The reason for using this technique is due to asphyxia at birth, with 23% of deaths occurring at birth, reaching a figure of 4 million, due to not receiving timely and adequate CPR so that they can breathe to survive. The objective of the research will be to determine the level of knowledge in neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the nursing professional at the Vitarte hospital. 2021. The research will be guided by a quantitative approach, simple descriptive design, having as a population and sample 45, who work at the Vitarte Hospital. The sample will be census and the entire population will be used. Sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience because of the ease of access to the required sample. 1 data collection instrument will be used, a survey previously validated by the corresponding experts.

La reanimación cardiopulmonar neonatal, método mediante el cual se interviene de forma inmediata ante una parada cardiorrespiratorio en el neonato, se realizará de manera secuencial, previa evaluación de la situación, manejo adecuado de las vías aéreas, respiración y compresiones torácicas en el momento requerido. Dicha intervención permite que el neonato se recupere rápidamente, garantizando el crecimiento sin complicaciones. La razón de utilizar esta técnica es por la asfixia al nacer, presentándose 23% de fallecidos al nacer, llegando a una cifra de 4 millones, por no recibir el RCPN oportuna y adecuada logrando que respire para sobrevivir. El objetivo de la investigación será determinar el nivel de conocimientos en reanimación cardiopulmonar neonatal del profesional de enfermería del hospital de Vitarte. 2021. La investigación se guiará por un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo simple, teniendo como población y muestra a 45, que laboran en el Hospital de Vitarte. La muestra será censal y se usará a toda la población. El muestreo fue no probabilístico por conveniencia porque la facilidad del acceso a la muestra requerida. Se utilizará 1 instrumento de recolección de datos, una encuesta validadas previamente por los expertos correspondientes.
