Job stress and nursing performance in the specialized critical care unit of a Ministry of Health hospital, Lima 2022

Abstract

In the present research, the objective was set to determine the relationship between work stress and professional nursing performance in the specialized critical unit of a hospital of the Ministry of Health of Lima - 2022. In the methodology, the study was based on an applied type, correlational level, quantitative approach and non-experimental cross-sectional design; The population and sample were made up of 45 nurses who work in the Specialized Care Unit UCE of a hospital of the Ministry of Health; The technique was the survey and the instruments were: the questionnaires called The Nursing Stress Scale (NSS) for work stress and the professional performance questionnaire.

En la presente investigación se planteó el objetivo de determinar la relación entre el estrés laboral y desempeño profesional de enfermería en la unidad crítica especializada de un hospital del Ministerio de Salud de Lima - 2022. En la metodología, el estudio se basó un tipo aplicado, nivel correlacional, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental de corte transversal; la población y muestra se compuso por 45 enfermeras que laboran en la Unidad de Cuidados Especializados UCE de un hospital del Ministerio de Salud; la técnica fue la encuesta y los instrumentos fueron: los cuestionarios denominados The Nursing Stress Scale (NSS) para estrés laboral y el cuestionario de desempeño profesional.
