Knowledge and practice of the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization process of laparoscopic instruments in the surgical center nurses of a national hospital III-1 in Lima, July-October 2020

Abstract

Objective: determine the levels of knowledge and practice of the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization processes of laparoscopic instruments in the surgical center nurses of a national level III-1 hospital in Lima, July-October 2020. Material and methods: quantitative research , descriptive and cross-sectional; It will be carried out in a national hospital of level of care III-1 in the department of Lima, in the surgical center service to a population of 34 nurses who make up the total sample of the population. The techniques to be used will be the survey and observation; and, the instruments will be the questionnaire and checklist, which were designed by the researchers fernández and rosillo in their work entitled “knowledge and practice of the cleaning, disinfection and sterilization process of laparoscopic surgery instruments, hospital iii josé cayetano heredia piura, 2016”; which were validated through expert judgment using the corrected rank proportion coefficient, obtaining 0.929 and 0.957 respectively; and were subjected to pilot testing, they have Crombach's alpha reliability of 0.864 for the questionnaire, and 0.893 for the checklist. The information will be tabulated in Microsoft Excel, and its analysis will be processed in frequencies and percentages.

Objetivo: determinar los niveles de conocimiento y práctica de los procesos de limpieza, desinfección y esterilización del instrumental laparoscópico en las enfermeras de centro quirúrgico de un hospital nacional de nivel III-1 en lima, julio-octubre 2020. Material y métodos: investigación cuantitativa, descriptia y de corte transversal; se realizará en un hospital nacional de nivel de atención III-1 del departamento de Lima, en el servicio de centro quirúrgico a una población de 34 enfermeras que conforman la muestra total de la población. las técnicas por utilizar serán la encuesta y la observación; y, los instrumentos serán el cuestionario y lista de cotejo, que fueron diseñados por las investigadoras fernández y rosillo en su trabajo titulado “conocimiento y práctica del proceso de limpieza, desinfección y esterilización del instrumental de cirugía laparoscópica, hospital iii josé cayetano heredia piura, 2016”; que fueron validados a través de juicio de expertos mediante el coeficiente de proporción de rangos corregido obteniendo 0.929 y 0.957 respectivamente; y fueron sometidos a prueba piloto, cuentan con fiabilidad alfa de crombach de 0.864 para el cuestionario, y 0.893 para la lista de cotejo. la información será tabulada en microsoft excel, y su análisis será procesada en frecuencias y porcentajes.
