Knowledge and practice of nursing in the neurodevelopment of the premature newborn of a hospital in Callao 2023

Abstract

The research will be carried out in the context of the neonatology specialty and focuses on the neurodevelopment of premature newborns, a phase in which they are extremely vulnerable given that they are not yet prepared to assume the new environment they face. This requires specialized professionals who can effectively and efficiently assume the work they do; however, it has been detected that in the Callao hospital where the study is carried out, there is still insufficient knowledge and practice to contribute to the neurodevelopment of the premature newborn. OBJECTIVE: to determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing practice in the neurodevelopment of the premature newborn in a hospital in Callao, 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: it will be a quantitative, applied research, with a non-experimental - cross-sectional design and a descriptive - correlational scope. 50 nursing professionals will participate. Two questionnaires will be applied to measure the knowledge and nursing practice variables in the neurodevelopment of the premature newborn.

La investigación se realizó en el contexto de la especialidad de neonatología y se centra en el neurodesarrollo de los recién nacidos prematuros, fase en la que se encuentran sumamente vulnerables dado que aún no se encuentran preparados para asumir el nuevo entorno al que se enfentran,Ello requiere de profesionales especializados que puedan asumir de manera eficaz y eficiente la labor que realizan; sin embargo, se a detectado que en el hospital del Callo donde se realiza el estudio aún existen insuficientes conocimientos y prácticas para contribuir al neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro. OBJETIVO: determinar cuál es la relación entre conocimientos y practica de enfermería en el neurodesarrollo del recién nacido prematuro de un hospital del callao 2023 MATERIALES Y METODOS: Sera una investigación cuantitativa , aplicada, con diseño no experimental-transversal y alcance descriptivo – correlacional. Participarán 50 profesionales de enfermería. Se aplicaran dos cuestionarios para medir las variables conocimiento y practica en el neurodesarrollo del recién nacido Prematuro
