Level of knowledge and its relationship with the practices of the nursing professional on preventive measures of pressure injuries in the emergency service of the Hospital San Luan de Lurigancho Lima 2023

Abstract

A high mortality is attributed to the patient with pressure injuries (LPP) and these are preventable. The work of nurses and caregivers is relevant in the prevention and treatment of LPP. The objective was to analyze the relationship of what is known and its relationship with the nurse's practices on preventive measures of LPP in the emergency area of the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho (HSJL) in Lima 2023. Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive research; correlational and cross-sectional, the sample made up of all nurses who work in emergency. The data collection will be obtained through a questionnaire, which will obtain how much you know about LPP and an observation guide to recognize your practices.

Una alta mortalidad es atribuida al paciente con lesiones por presión (LPP) y estas son prevenibles. La labor del enfermero(a) y de los cuidadores es relevante en la prevención y en el tratamiento de las LPP. El objetivo fue Analizar la relación de cuanto conoce y su relación con las prácticas del enfermero(a) sobre medidas preventivas de LPP en el área de emergencia del Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho (HSJL) en Lima 2023. Metodología: Investigación cuantitativa, descriptivo; correlacional y de corte transversal, la muestra conformada por la totalidad de enfermeros que trabajan en emergencia. La recolección de los datos se obtendrá por medio de un cuestionario, que obtendrá cuanto conoce sobre LPP y una guía de observación para reconocer sus prácticas
