Quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the surgical center of the Barranca-Lima hospital, 2023

Abstract

The primary responsibility of the nursing care profession is to know each patient as a whole in order to provide the best possible care. In addition, the most important right of every patient is to be satisfied with the services offered in healthcare facilities. For this reason, patient satisfaction is considered one of the most significant indicators of the quality of medical care. Due to this, the present work has as its OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the surgical center of a Hospital in Barranca-Lima, 2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A hypothetical, deductive, quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental research will be carried out. Taking into account as population 90 patients attended in the Surgical Center of a Hospital in Barranca, Lima-Peru. The survey technique and as an instrument the questionnaire, for both variables, with validation of the work of Jökel (2022). In order to process the data, descriptive inferential statistics will be used, which will be carried out by means of the SPSS 24 statistical program with an alpha of 0.05. To statistically examine the relationship between the two key variables, Spearman's Rho will also be used.

OBJETIVO: Determinar cuál es la relación que existe entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y la satisfacción del paciente en el centro quirúrgico de un Hospital de Barranca-Lima, 2023. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Se seguirá una investigación hipotética deductiva, cuantitativa, descriptiva, correlacional, corte transversal, no experimental. Tomando en cuenta como población a 90 pacientes atendidos en el en el Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital de Barranca, Lima-Perú. La técnica de encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, para ambas variables, con validación del trabajo de Jökel (2022). Para procesar los datos se utilizarán estadísticas descriptivas inferenciales, que se llevarán a cabo mediante el programa estadístico SPSS 24 con un alfa de 0,05. Para examinar estadísticamente la relación entre las dos variables clave, también se empleará la Rho de Spearman.
