Occupational mobbing and quality of life in nurses of the emergency service of the Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal, Lima-Peru, 2017.

| dc.description.abstract | Objective: To determine the relationship between workplace mobbing and quality of life in nurses from the emergency department of the National Maternal and Perinatal Institute – 2017. Methodology: Descriptive correlational, quantitative, cross-sectional study with a population of 70 nurses, who were interviewed using two scales, Leyman LIPT 60 and CVP-35. Results: Two-thirds (69%) of nurses experienced moderate workplace mobbing, with the following dimensions: workplace discredit, communication issues, and overt intimidation, where more than half (67%) had moderate workplace mobbing, personal discredit, and hindrance to progress (41%) had moderate workplace mobbing. However, covert intimidation was reported as low mobbing by more than half (61%). Two-thirds (71.43%) reported having unhealthy and moderately healthy quality of life, with the following dimensions: social support (52.26%), intrinsic motivation (65.71%), and work demands (64.29%) reflecting moderately healthy quality of life. The null hypothesis was accepted (R: 0.0268). Conclusion: No relationship was found between workplace mobbing and quality of life. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el mobbing laboral y calidad de vida en enfermeras del servicio de emergencia del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal – 2017. Metodología. Estudio descriptivo correlacional, cuantitativo de corte transversal, en una población de 70 enfermeras, a las que se les entrevistó con dos escalas de Leyman LIPT 60 y CVP-35. Resultados. Dos tercios (69%) de enfermeras tuvo moderado mobbing laboral, así como en las dimensiones, desprestigio laboral, incomunicación, intimidación manifestada, más de la mitad (67%) tuvieron moderado mobbing laboral, desprestigio personal, entorpecimiento del progreso (41%) tuvieron moderado mobbing laboral; pero intimidación encubierta más de la mitad (61%) tuvieron bajo mobbing laboral; en dos tercios (71.43%) tuvieron calidad de vida no saludable y medianamente saludable, en los tres dimensiones tuvo: apoyo social (52.26%), motivación intrínseca (65.71%), demanda de trabajo (64.29%), tuvieron calidad de vida medianamente saludable. Se aceptó la hipótesis nula (R: 0.0268). Conclusión. No hay relación entre mobbing laboral y calidad de vida. | es_ES |
