Nursing knowledge and practices on prevention of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation, emergency service, EsSalud hospital level IV of Lima, 2023

Abstract

The study aims to determine how knowledge is related to nursing practice in the prevention of NAVM, Emergency Service, Hospital de EsSalud Level IV de Lima, 2023, the study is developed through a method that is based on the resolution of the hypothesis for the deduction of the truth, considering a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design in a cross-sectional temporal section, 49 nursing workers referred to the emergency service will be sampled, who will solve a questionnaire for the first knowledge variable and in terms of the practice of the NAVM an observation guide, validated and reliable instruments will be used, with which the collection of data prior authorized permits may be carried out, in addition said information will be analyzed statistically with the appropriate programs to be able to provide descriptive and inferential statistical results interpreted in order to provide the conclusions of the case and substantiate the recommendations that refer to reduce the observed problem.

El estudio presenta como objetivo, determinar cómo los conocimientos se relacionan con la práctica de enfermería en la prevención de NAVM, Servicio de Emergencia, Hospital de EsSalud Nivel IV de Lima, 2023, el estudio se desarrolla a través de un método que se basa en la resolución de la hipótesis para la deducción de la verdad, considerando un enfoque cuantitativo, un diseño no experimental en un corte temporal transversal, se tendrá como muestra a 49 trabajadores del área de enfermería derivados en el servicio de emergencia, quienes resolverán un cuestionario para la primera variable conocimiento y en cuanto a la práctica de la NAVM se utilizara un guía de observación, instrumentos validados y confiables, con los cuales se podrá realizar la recolección de datos previos permisos autorizados, además dicha información se analizara estadísticamente con los programas adecuados para poder brindar resultados estadísticos descriptivos e inferenciales interpretados con el fin de brindar las conclusiones del caso y fundamentar la recomendaciones que se refieran para disminuir la problemática observada.
