Abstract

The study “Compliance in the application of the safe surgery checklist by the staff of the surgical center of the Arzobispo Loayza national hospital”, developed in Lima, Objective. This work has a quantitative nature approach, with respect to the design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The population will consist of the number of operations carried out in a month and no statistical sampling method will be applied since we will work intentionally and conveniently with a significant sample of 30% of the population which will be 58 study units guaranteeing reliability. and veracity of the results. The observational technique will be used and the instrument will be a structured observation guide with indicators in accordance with the principles of the safe surgery checklist, which will have 25 items that cover questions on all the topics included in the list, focused on the 3 corresponding dimensions. to the phases of the safe surgery checklist such as surgical entry, pause and exit, thus determining compliance with the parameters that each member of the surgical center staff must carry out, it will be carried out according to the operating time of each surgical intervention, whether scheduled or scheduled. emergency. To measure the variable, a dichotomous score will be used: complies/does not comply.

El estudio “Cumplimiento en la aplicacion del checklist de cirugia segura por el personal del centro quirurgico del hospital nacional Arzobispo Loayza”, desarrolado en Lima, Objetivo. Será determinar el cumplimiento en la aplicación del checklist de cirugía segura por el personal del centro quirúrgico del hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. Materiales y métodos. Este trabajo tiene un enfoque de naturaleza cuantitativa, respecto al diseño es descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población consistirá en la cantidad de operaciones realizadas en un mes y no se aplicará ningún método de muestreo estadístico ya que se trabajará de forma intencional y conveniente con una muestra significativa del 30 % de la población la cual será 58 unidades de estudio garantizando la confiabilidad y veracidad de los resultados. Se utilizará la técnica observacional y el instrumento será una guía de observación estructurada con indicadores conforme a los principios del checklist de cirugía segura, la cual contará con 25 items que abarcan preguntas sobre todos los temas incluidos en la lista, enfocado en las 3 dimensiones correspondientes a las fases del checklist de cirugía segura como son la entrada, pausa y salida quirúrgica así determinar el cumplimiento de los parámetros que debe realizar cada miembro del personal del centro quirúrgico, se realizará conforme al tiempo operatorio de cada intervención quirúrgica ya sea programada o de emergencia. Para medir la variable se utilizará una puntuación dicotómica: cumple/ no cumple.
