Knowledge of mothers about the diet and nutritional status of children under 5 years of age at a health center in Iquitos - 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the knowledge of mothers about food and the nutritional status of children under 5 years of age at a Health Center in Iquitos2023. Methodology: It focused on the quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational study. cross section; The population for this study is limited since there are 80 mothers of children under 5 years of age from the health center under study, it will be census since it will involve the entire population. Results. There is regular knowledge with normal weight in nutritional status in 26.3%. Knowledge in its general dimension with nutritional status, there is regular knowledge with normal weight in nutritional status in 17.5%. The knowledge in its dimension necessary vitamins for the organism with the nutritional state, there is regular knowledge with low weight in the nutritional state in 18.8%. The knowledge in its dimension necessary vitamins for the organism with the nutritional state, there is regular knowledge with low weight in the nutritional state in 21.3%.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento de las madres sobre la alimentación y el estado nutricional de niños menores de 5 años de un Centro de Salud de Iquitos- 2023. Metodología: Se enfocó en el estudio cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional, de corte transversal; La población para este estudio es limitada ya que son 80 madres de niños menores de 5 años del centro de salud en estudio, será censal ya que involucrará a toda la población. Resultados. Existe conocimiento regular con normopeso en el estado nutricional en 26.3%.
