Relationship between family support and quality of life in patients with hemodialysis treatment at the Global Renal Clinic, Lima - 2022

Abstract

The general objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between family support and quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. As for the method, it is hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample is census type since it is made up of the entire population, which is 85 patients of both dialysis frequencies. To collect data, two surveys will be used, one for each variable. These surveys have been previously validated with results suitable for use. For the processing and analysis of the collected data, the IBM SPSS Statistics25 program will be used.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el apoyo de la familia y la calidad de vida en pacientes con tratamiento de hemodiálisis. En cuanto al método es hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra es de tipo censal ya que está conformada por toda la población que son 85 pacientes de ambas frecuencias de diálisis. Para la recaudación de datos se utilizará dos encuestas, una para cada variable, estas encuestas han sido validadas de manera previa con resultados adecuados para su uso. Para el proceso y análisis de los datos recolectados se apicarará el programa IBM SPSS Statistics25.
