Level of knowledge and efficiency in advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation in nurses of the emergency department of a hospital in Lima, 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and efficiency in advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in emergency service nurses in a hospital in Lima, 2021. Methodology: Observational design study with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach. The population will be made up of 50 nurses from the Emergency Service of a Hospital in Lima, selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research; no sample size was calculated. Data collection techniques and instruments: Two questionnaires will be applied as instruments. For the Knowledge and Efficiency variables, questionnaires will be used that consist of 16 and 26 questions respectively, measured with a Likert scale and validated by the author Reyes Aguirre, Nancy in 2021. Procedures: Data collection will be carried out in 2 months, in the Emergency service. Once the information has been collected, the statistical analysis will be carried out by coding the data obtained in the Microsoft Excel 2019 Program and the SPSS Program version 26.0. Statistical Analysis: To communicate the results obtained in this study, bar and/or pie graphs and tables will be used. To measure the relationship between the variables, Pearson's R will be applied.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y eficiencia en Reanimación Cardiopulmonar avanzado en las enfermeras del servicio de emergencia en un hospital de Lima, 2021. Metodología: Estudio de diseño observacional de enfoque cuantitativo, de corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 50 enfermeras del servicio de Emergencia de un Hospital de Lima, seleccionados de acuerdo a criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en la investigación, no se calculó tamaño muestral. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se aplicarán como instrumentos: Dos cuestionarios. Para las variables Conocimiento y Eficiencia se emplearán los cuestionarios que constan de 16 y 26 preguntas respectivamente, medidos con escala de Likert y validados por la autora Reyes Aguirre, Nancy en el año 2021. Procedimientos: La recolección de datos se realizará en 2 meses, en el servicio de Emergencia. Una vez recolectada la información el análisis estadístico, se hará realizando codificación a los datos obtenidos en el Programa Microsoft Excel 2019 y el Programa SPSS versión 26.0. Análisis Estadístico: Para comunicar los resultados obtenidos en el presente estudio, se emplearán gráficos en barras y/o circulares y tablas. Para medir la relación entre las variables se aplicará R de Pearson.
