Resumen
The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between nursing care and quality of life of patients diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus in a III Level National Hospital, Lima 2023. The research was carried out using the hypothetical-deductive method, a quantitative, non-experimental, transactional and correlational approach. The population consisted of patients with a diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus who attended the rheumatology outpatient clinic of a III Level National Hospital; with a sample of 85 patients. Two instruments were applied, the questionnaire "Perception of humanized nursing care behaviors" to assess the quality of care provided by nurses from a humanized behavioral perspective and the questionnaire "The quality-of-life scale (SF-36)" which measures the quality of life of patients. The results showed that 82.4% of the patients perceived good nursing care and 17.6% fair nursing care; 3.5% of the patients had high quality of life, 84.7% medium quality of life and 11.8% low quality of life. A significant relationship was found between nursing care and quality of life of patients diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus in a III level National Hospital, Lima 2023 (Rho Spearman=0.993; p<0.05).
