Level of knowledge of nursing graduates on late umbilical cord clamping in neonates at the Lambayeque Regional Hospital 2020

Abstract

In the process of clamping the umbilical cord, it is a movement that is carried out in one of the stages of labor, specifically in the third, in which it is between delivery and birth, the end of fetal circulation is generated. placenta at that level of gas exchange, consequently, a physiological change of cardiopulmonary adaptation will open. It is known that the cut that is made in the umbilical cord and clamping, within the estimated time of 60 seconds of delivery; It is also known that after one minute of delivery of late cutting and clamping, when it is verified that there are no pulsations of the cord. If the clamping of the cord is delayed, the blood flow between the newborn and the placenta will be stabilized, with this we will obtain improvements in the baby's iron, including up to 6 months of life. In this research work I want to capture the benefits of late clamping of the umbilical cord to promote the risk factor of anemia in the newborn. Because of this problem, the following question was raised: level of knowledge of nursing graduates about late clamping of the umbilical cord in neonates at the regional hospital of Lambayeque 2020.

En el proceso del pinzamiento en el cordón umbilical es un movimiento que se lleva en una de las etapas de trabajo de parto, específicamente en el tercero, en los cuales está entre el alumbramiento y el nacimiento, se genera el final de la circulación feto-placentaria a ese nivel del intercambio gaseoso, en consecuencia, se abrirá un cambio fisiológico de adaptación cardiopulmonar. Se sabe que el corte que se realiza en el cordón umbilical y pinzamiento, dentro del tiempo estimado de los 60 segundo del parto; también se sabe que después de un minuto del parto del corte tardío y pinzamiento, cuando se verifica que no hay pulsaciones del cordón. Si se atrasa el pinzamiento donde es el cordón, se obtendrá estabilizar el flujo sanguíneo entre el recién nacido y la placenta, con eso obtendremos mejoras en el hierro del bebé, incluyendo hasta los 6 meses de vida. En este trabajo de investigación quiero plasmar los beneficios que tiene el pinzamiento tardío del cordón umbilical para favorecer el factor de riesgo de anemia en el recién nacido. A causa de esta problemática, se planteó la siguiente interrogante ¿nivel de conocimientos de licenciadas de enfermería sobre pinzamiento tardío del Cordón umbilical en neonatos del hospital regional de Lambayeque 2020
