Knowledge about complementary feeding and practices in mothers of children under 2 years of age from a Chiclayo Health Center, 2024

Abstract

The objective of the research is to determine the relationship that exists between Knowledge and practice on complementary feeding in each mother and child under 2 years of age at the Chiclayo health center, 2024. The Methodology, the design is non-experimental with a quantitative and descriptive correlational approach, the sample It was determined by 120 mothers with a child under 2 years of age who are cared for in the Growth and Development Service of the Chiclayo Health Center. To collect the information, the Likert scale instrument will be applied, which has twenty-five questions. Every ethical principle and criterion of scientific will be respected. Having mentioned this, it will be possible to conclude the level of knowledge of the mothers and their practices in complementary feeding.

La investigación tiene como Objetivo Determinar la relación que existe entre Conocimientos y la práctica sobre alimentación complementarias en cada madre y niño menor de 2 años del centro de salud Chiclayo, 2023 La Metodología el diseño es no experimental de enfoque cuantitativa y descriptiva correlacional, la muestra se determinó por 120 madres con niño menor de 2 años que se atienda en el Servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo del Centro Salud Chiclayo. Para la recogida de la información se aplicará el instrumento con escala Likert, el cual cuenta con veinticinco interrogantes. Se respetará cada principio ético y criterio de cientificidad. Mencionado esto se podrá concluir el nivel de conocimiento de las madres y sus prácticas en alimentación complementaria
