Level of knowledge about biosafety measures and practices of the nursing professional of the surgical center of the national hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about biosafety measures and practices of the professional nursing staff at the Surgical Center of the National Hospital, Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: The research is hypothetical-deductive. correlational of a quantitative, descriptive type, using validated instruments, was validated in Peru by the author Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine, in 2018, whose title was “Relationship between the level of knowledge and practices of biosafety measures in inmates of nursing of a hospital in Lima and that will allow obtaining results with scientific value. Population: the population to be studied is made up of 92 nurses who meet the inclusion criteria, for which the questionnaire instruments and a checklist will be applied, using survey and observation techniques respectively. The instrument was designed by Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine in 2018. In this way, to determine the level of knowledge and practices of biosafety measures will be obtained with compliance with ethical standards, both variables will be through inferential statistical measures, when the data collection is completed, the information will be processed in a matrix. Coding and content will be done using the Microsoft Excel program and the SPSS statistical program, version 22 with the purpose of presenting the results in tables and/or graphs for subsequent analysis and interpretation. To establish the relationship between the two variables, the standard deviation and percentage for the variables will be used; to contrast the research hypothesis, it will be carried out using Spearman's Rho compensation coefficient.

El presente estudio de investigación tiene como Objetivo: determinar cuál es la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos sobre medidas de bioseguridad y prácticas del personal profesional de Enfermería en el Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Nacional, Lima 2023. Materiales y Métodos: La investigación es hipotético deductivo, correlacional de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, empleando instrumentos validados fue validado en Perú por el autor Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine, en el año 2018, que tuvo como título “Relación entre el nivel del conocimiento y prácticas de medidas de bioseguridad en los internos de enfermería de un hospital de Lima y que permitirán obtener resultados con valor científico. Población: la población a estudiar está constituida por 92 enfermeras que cumplen con los criterios de inclusión, para lo cual se va aplicar los instrumentos cuestionario y una lista de chequeo, mediante técnica de encuesta y observación respectivamente. El instrumento fue diseñado por Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine año 2018. De esta forma, para determinar el nivel de conocimiento y prácticas de medidas de bioseguridad se obtendrá con el cumplimiento de las normas éticas, ambas variables serán medidas por la estadística inferencial, cuando se concluya el recojo de datos, la información se procesará en una matriz de codificación y conteo será mediante el programa Microsoft Excel y el programa estadístico SPSS, versión 22 con la finalidad de presentar los resultados en tablas y/o gráficos para su posterior análisis e interpretación. Para establecer la relación entre las dos variables será la desviación estándar y porcentaje para las variables, para contrastar la hipótesis de investigación se realizará mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman.
