Knowledge and attitude about preventive measures against covid 19 in merchants of the Central las Americas Market, Ate Vitarte Lima 2022

Abstract

Objective. Analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitude regarding preventive measures against COVID-19 in merchants at the Las Américas Central Market, Ate Vitarte Lima 2022. Likewise, the method was correlational, quantitative, applied, transversal and prospective. The sample was 60 merchants from the aforementioned market, which was also considered as a sample. The results showed that 36.7% of merchants showed a high level of knowledge and 70% showed a regular level of attitudes. Furthermore, a significant correlation was observed between knowledge (p<0.001, Rho=0.518), its dimensions: etiology (p<0.001, Rho=0.685), means of transmission (p=0.002, Rho=0.393), clinical picture (p <0.001, Rho=0.455), protective measures (p<0.001, Rho=0.440), and attitude about preventive measures. It is concluded that the greater the knowledge, the better the attitudes about preventive measures in merchants.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas frente al COVID-19con la actitud sobre medidas preventivas frente al COVID-19 en comerciantes del Mercado Central Las Américas, Ate Vitarte. Material y métodos: El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue Hipotético-deductivo , no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional . La muestra fueron 60 comerciantes del Mercado Central Las Américas , Ate Vitarte , siendo seleccionadas por criterios de inclusión y exclusión de la investigación. Para medir los conocimiento y actitud sobre medidas preventivas frente al covid-19 en comerciantes del mercado central las américas, Ate Vitarte , se utilizó el instrumento de Conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas frente al COVID-19 este comprende 20 ítems agrupados en 4 dimensiones y el instrumento de actitud sobre medidas preventivas frente al COVID-19 comprende 12 ítems , Se realizó una prueba piloto a 10 comerciantes del mercado central las américas Ate Vitarte para evidenciar su confiabilidad y validez
