Complementary food and nutritional status in children aged 6 to 12 months of age from The Flor de Amancaes Health Center, Lima 2024

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the relationship between complementary feeding and the nutritional status of children aged 6 to 12 months.

The study was basic research with a quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational level, and a non-experimental design. Due to the small population size, no sampling was conducted, and the entire population was included in the study.

The data collection technique was a survey, utilizing a questionnaire and anthropometric charts as instruments.

El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre alimentación complementaria y estado nutricional en los niños de 6 a 12 meses. El tipo de investigación básica, enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo correccional, diseño no experimental. Para este proyecto de investigación no se sacará muestra, se trabajará con toda la población por ser un número reducido, se usará la técnica de la encuesta, como instrumento un cuestionario y cartillas antropométricas.
