Usefulness of reticulocytic hemoglobin in the diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia in the pediatric population of the National Institute of Children's Health, Lima - 2019

Abstract

Hemiplegia is a disease of the central nervous system caused by traumatic brain injury or a cerebrovascular accident. Recovery for these patients is very slow, and in most cases, the upper limb has significant functional limitations, leading the patient to compensate by only using the healthy half of the body. This makes it essential to explore new treatment approaches for the recovery of this upper extremity. The objective of our study is to demonstrate the effect of neurocognitive therapy on the upper limb. The general objective is to show the effect of neurocognitive treatment on the recovery of upper limb disability in hemiplegic patients. Methods: This is an experimental pre-test and post-test study. The Dashe questionnaire (Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Disability Questionnaire), which has been validated by 5 experts, will be used to measure upper limb disability, alongside a data collection form for intervening variables.

La hemiplejia es una enfermedad del sistema nerviosos central causado por un traumatismo encéfalo craneano o un accidente cerebro vascular, la recuperación de este paciente es muy lenta y en la mayoría de casos el miembro superior queda con una gran limitación funcional siendo, el paciente compensa y solo utiliza el hemicuerpo sano por lo que se hace indispensable aportar nuevos enfoques de tratamiento para la recuperación de esta extremidad superior, por lo tanto en nuestro estudio buscamos demostrar el efecto que tiene la terapia neurocognitiva en el miembro superior. El objetivo general es demostrar el efecto del tratamiento neurocognitivo en la recuperación de la discapacidad del miembro superior en pacientes con hemiplejia. Material y métodos, se empleará una investigación experimental de tipo pre experimental con un pre y pos test, además se utilizará el cuestionario Dashe (cuestionario de Discapacidad del hombro, codo y mano) para la variable discapacidad del miembro superior debidamente validado por medio de juicio de 5 expertos y se empleará una ficha de recolección de datos para las variables intervinientes.
