Stress level and work performance of the nursing staff of the surgical center of a hospital in Lima 2023

Abstract

The study is entitled: "Stress level and work performance of the nursing staff of the Surgical Center of a hospital in Lima 2023". Objective of the study is: To determine the level of stress and its relationship with the work performance of the nursing staff of the Surgical Center. Material and Method: The study has a quantitative approach, non-experimental and correlational design. The population and sample will consist of 85 nursing professionals from the Surgical Center. The data collection technique will be the survey and 2 questionnaires will be used as an instrument that will measure the variables under study, the first variable stress level will be measured through 26 questions in four dimensions: physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioral reactions, in the case of work performance it will be measured through 31 questions in four dimensions: quality of work, responsibility, teamwork and institutional commitment. The results will be presented through the system using Microsoft Excel 2013 and SPSS version 25.0 statistical software. through charts and graphs.

El estudio lleva por título: “Nivel de estrés y desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería del Centro Quirúrgico de un hospital de Lima 2023”. Objetivo del estudio es: Determinar el nivel de estrés y su relación con el desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería del Centro Quirúrgico. Material y Método: El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y correlacional. La población y muestra serán de 85 profesionales de enfermería del Centro Quirúrgico. La técnica de recolección de los datos será la encuesta y se utilizará como instrumento 2 cuestionarios que medirán las variables en estudio, primera variable nivel de estrés se medirá a través de 26 preguntas en cuatro dimensiones: reacciones fisiológicas, emocionales, cognitivas y conductuales, en el caso del desempeño laboral se medirá a través de 31 preguntas en cuatro dimensiones: calidad de trabajo, responsabilidad, trabajo en equipo y compromiso institucional. Se presentarán los resultados mediante el sistema por medio del programa de Microsoft Excel 2013 y un programa estadístico informático SPSS versión 25.0. a través de tablas y gráficos
