Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of mothers of newborns hospitalized in neonatal intensive care at the Villa El Salvador Emergency Hospital, Lima 2022

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the correlation between the quality of care provided by the nursing staff and the level of satisfaction of the mother of the Newborns hospitalized in Neonatal Intensive Care at the Villa el Salvador Emergency Hospital, Lima 2022 which is prepared, With the descriptive method and an observational, retrospective, cross-sectional correlational design, a sample composed of 53 mothers of Newborns Hospitalized in the Neonatal ICU Service of the Emergency Villa Hospital was used. the Savior. The data collection tool used was the interview and an instrument made up of 2 surveys, one about the Quality of Care which is made up of 15 items validated with Cronbach's Alpha 0.87. And the other on the Satisfaction of mothers of newborns, which consists of 14 items that allow us to know the satisfaction of the Mothers. The results will benefit the nursing professional, as it will facilitate the improvement of care for the Newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Este estudio tiene por finalidad estudiar la correlación entre la calidad del cuidado brindado por el personal enfermero y el nivel de satisfacción de la madre del Recién Nacidos hospitalizado en Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales en el Hospital de Emergencia Villa el Salvador, Lima 2022 la cual está elaborado, con el método descriptivo y un diseño correlacional de tipo observacional, retrospectivo, transversal, se utilizó una muestra compuesta por 53 mamás de Recién Nacidos Hospitalizados en el Servicio de UCI Neonatal del Hospital Emergencia Villa el Salvador . La herramienta de recolección de datos que se empleó fue la entrevista y un instrumento conformado por 2 encuestas una acerca de la Calidad de Atención la cual se compone de 15 ítems validados con Alpha de Cronbach 0.87. Y la otra sobre la Satisfacción de las mamás de neonatos, la cual consta de 14 ítems que permiten conocer la satisfacción de las Madres. Los resultados beneficiarán al profesional enfermero, pues facilitará la mejora del cuidado al Recién Nacido en la Unidad Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales.
