Quality of work life and work performance in emergency nursing professionals in a National Hospital, Lima, 2022

Abstract

The project's objective is to "Determine how the quality of work life is related to the job performance of emergency nursing staff at a National Hospital in Lima, 2022." Study type: This is a quantitative study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, as the work will be carried out within a specific time frame. Population: The population will be finite and consists of 80 nursing professionals from the emergency department of the National Hospital in Lima. No sample will be taken; the entire population will be included according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Technique and instruments: Questionnaires will be applied, one for each variable. Data processing and analysis will be carried out using the SPSS statistical software, version 24, performing non-parametric inferential statistical analysis. To determine the relationship between the two variables, since they are ordinal qualitative variables, Spearman's R coefficient will be used.

El proyecto tiene por objetivo “Determinar cómo se relaciona la calidad de vida laboral con el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores de enfermería de la emergencia en un Hospital Nacional, Lima 2022”. Tipo de estudio: es un estudio cuantitativo con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, debido a que se trabajara en un determinado tiempo. Población: La población será finita y estará constituida por 80 Profesionales de enfermerías del área de emergencia del Hospital Nacional de Lima, no se contará con muestra, se tomará la población total de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Técnica e instrumentos: se aplicarán cuestionarios, uno para cada variable. Para el procesamiento y el análisis de datos se utilizará el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 24, realizando un análisis estadístico inferencial no paramétrico. Para determinar la relación entre las dos variables, por ser variables cualitativas ordinales se utilizará el coeficiente R de Spearman.
