Level of knowledge and its relationship with the practice of biosafety measures of the nursing staff at the central sterilization center of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To verify the interdependence between the level of knowledge and the practice of biosafety measures of the nursing staff in the sterilization center of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, Lima, 2023. Material and method: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design, hypothetical method- deductive, transversal, and prospective. The population of 50 nurses from the sterilization center of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital, Lima, 2023, shows 50 nurses, census sampling. The technique will be the survey and the instruments "Biosafety Knowledge" and "Biosafety Observation Guide". The processing and validation of hypotheses will be carried out with Spearman's Rho.

Objetivo: Comprobar la interdependencia entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica de medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería en la central de esterilización del Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, Lima, 2023. Material y método: Enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, método hipotéticodeductivo, trasversal y prospectivo. Población 50 enfermeras de central de esterilización del Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins, Lima, 2023, muestra 50 enfermeras, muestreo censal. La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos “Conocimiento de bioseguridad” y “Guía de observación de bioseguridad”. El procesamiento y validación de hipótesis se realizará con Rho de Spearman.
