Strategies with work stress in nursing personnel at the surgical center of a private clinic in the city of Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship of coping strategies with work stress in nursing personnel at the surgical center of a private clinic in the city of Lima 2023. Method: hypothetical deductive, quantitative research approach since the systematic collection of numerical information will be carried out, as well as the analysis through statistical processes, it is non-experimental of a correlational and cross-sectional type because it describes relationships between two or more categories. It consists of two instruments, the first a checklist based on the Mikulic Coping Response Checklist (49) adapted by Mikol Hinojo Vilkapoma for health professionals working in the operating room. a checklist made up of 48 items with 0 points for no and 1 point for yes. The coping dimension will be measured in the first 24 questions of the instrument. The dimension of avoidant coping will be measured in the following 24 questions of the instrument. Coping strategies will be measured on the Stanones scale, which ranges from 0 to 16 for low scores, from 17 to 32 for moderate scores, and from 33 to 48 for high scores. The second is Tool 2 Nursing Stress Scale – NSS; created by Pamela Gray-Toft and James G. Anderson (USA, 1999) and adapted by Escriba (Spain, 1998); likewise, Torres adapted it to Peru in 2017; consists of 34 units Composition; its dimensions are biological factors (14 items), psychological factors (13 items) and social factors (07 items); score never = 1, sometimes = 2, always = 3; the final value will be low work stress, medium work pressure and high work pressure.

El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la relación de estrategias de afrontamiento con el estrés laboral en el personal de enfermería en el Centro Quirúrgico de una clínica privada en la ciudad de Lima 2023. Método: Hipotético deductivo, enfoque de investigación de tipo cuantitativo ya que se realizará la recolección sistemática de información numérica, así como el análisis mediante procesos estadísticos, es no experimental de tipo correlacional y transversal porque describen relaciones entre dos o más categorías. Consta de dos instrumentos, el primero una lista de verificación basada en Mikulic Coping Response Checklist (49) adaptada por Mikol Hinojo Vilkapoma para los profesionales de la salud que trabajan en el quirófano. una lista de cotejo compuesta por 48 ítems con 0 puntos para no y 1 punto para sí. La dimensión de afrontamiento se medirá en las primeras 24 preguntas del instrumento. La dimensión de afrontamiento evitativo se medirá en las siguientes 24 preguntas del instrumento. Las estrategias de afrontamiento se medirán en la escala de Stanones, que va de 0 a 16 para puntajes bajos, de 17 a 32 para puntajes moderados y de 33 a 48 para puntajes altos. El segundo es herramienta 2 Escala de Estrés de Enfermería – NSS; creado por Pamela Gray-Toft y James G. Anderson (EEUU, 1999) y adaptado por Escriba (España, 1998); asimismo, Torres lo adaptó a Perú en 2017; consta de 34 unidades Composición; sus dimensiones son factores biológicos (14 ítems), factores psicológicos (13 ítems) y factores sociales (07 ítems); puntuación nunca = 1, a veces = 2, siempre = 3; el valor final será estrés laboral bajo, presión laboral media y presión laboral alta.
