Nursing knowledge and practice of the autoclave sterilization method in the sterilization department at Huanta Apoyo Hospital - Ayacucho 2021

Abstract

This research will be carried out within the line of nursing research in management at a sterilization center and will focus on the level of knowledge and nursing practice about the autoclave sterilization method, a primary procedure within health institutions, since its adequate Execution depends on the health, integrity and life of the patients and all the health personnel who work at the Apoyo Huanta Hospital. OBJECTIVE: determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing practice of the autoclave sterilization method in the Sterilization Center of the Apoyo Huanta Hospital – Ayacucho 2021. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the approach will be quantitative, basic, with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental, transversal design. The selected study sample will be 25 members of staff working at the Sterilization Center of the Huanta Support Hospital. The technique that will be used will be the survey and the instruments will be a questionnaire and a check list.

Esta investigación se realizará dentro de la línea de investigación enfermera en gestión en central de esterilización y se centrará en el nivel de conocimiento y práctica de enfermería acerca del método de esterilización en autoclave, procedimiento primordial dentro de las instituciones de salud, pues de su adecuada ejecución depende la salud, integridad y vida de los pacientes y de todo el personal sanitario que labora en el Hospital Apoyo Huanta.

OBJETIVO: determinar cuál es la relación entre nivel de conocimiento y práctica de enfermería del método de esterilización en autoclave en la Central de Esterilización del Hospital Apoyo Huanta – Ayacucho 2021.

MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: el enfoque será cuantitativo, de tipo básica, con alcance descriptivo-correlacional y diseño no experimental, transversal. La muestra de estudio seleccionada será de 25 miembros del personal que trabaja en la Central de Esterilización del Hospital de Apoyo de Huanta. La técnica que se empleará será la encuesta y los instrumentos un cuestionario y un check list.
