Knowledge and practice on biosafety standards of the nursing staff of the oncology service of the Santa Rosa Hospital.

Abstract

To safeguard the health of workers, a series of parameters were adopted, among which we have biosafety conceptualized as a mechanism that reduces the transmission of microorganisms. This study will have the objective: "To determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and practice on biosafety standards of the nursing staff of the oncology service of the Santa Rosa hospital, Lima 2022" The method that will be used in the study is the hypothetical deductive one where the variable will be described maintaining a logical order from the general to the particular, the approach will be quantitative because the variables described can be represented through statistical tables, the type applied and the correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the sample will be census. Likewise, two validated instruments will be used. For data processing and analysis, the results will be entered manually into Microsoft Excel, and into SPSS version 26. Likewise, for the hypothesis test, the non-parametric chi-square test will be applied, which seeks to relate two variables, finally the results will be shown in tables and/or graphs.

Para salvaguardar la salud en los trabajadores se adoptaron una serie de parámetros entre ellas tenemos a la bioseguridad conceptualizada como un mecanismo que disminuye la trasmisión de microorganismos. Este estudio tendrá como Objetivo: “Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y práctica sobre normas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería del servicio de oncología del hospital Santa Rosa, Lima 2022” el método que se utilizara en el estudio es el hipotético deductivo donde se ira describiendo la variable manteniendo un orden lógico de lo general a lo particular, el enfoque será cuantitativo porque las variables descritas podrán ser representadas a través de tablas estadísticas, el tipo aplicada y el diseño correlacional, no experimental y trasversal la muestra será censal. Asimismo, se utilizará dos instrumentos validados. Para el procesamiento y análisis de datos los resultados serán ingresada en forma manual al Microsoft Excel, y al SPSS versión 26. Asimismo, Para la prueba de hipótesis se aplicará la prueba no paramétrica chi cuadrado que busca relacionar dos variables finalmente los resultados se mostraran en tablas y/o gráficos.
