Functional capacity and quality of life of the patient in hemodialysis treatment, Igsa Medical Clinic, Callao 2023

Abstract

The work aims to determine how functional capacity is associated with the quality of life of patients who are undergoing hemodialysis treatment, where we will proceed with the application of a methodology applied with a quantifiable approach, non-experimental design with the participation of a sample of 78 patients through the use of two questionnaires the Barthel index parta measure functional capacity and to measure the quality of life, will be the Health SF – 36 questionnaire developed by Ware in 1993 used by the author Ramirez (49), in Peru in 2019. The database obtained which will be processed by the statistical program SPSS that will provide both descriptive and inferential statistical results, one of the tests that will be used in this analysis will be the Spearman correlation, which is designed to measure the degree of relationship between the variables which will help us with a confidence of 95% to verify our study hypotheses or to be able to conclude based on it.

El trabajo tiene como objetivo el poder determinar como la capacidad funcional se asocia con la calidad de vida de pacientes que están en tratamiento de hemodiálisis, en donde se procederá con la aplicación de una metodología aplicada con un enfoque cuantificable, de diseño no experimental con la participación de una muestra de 78 pacientes a través del uso de dos cuestionarios el índice de Barthel parta medir la capacidad funcional y para medir la calidad de vida, será el cuestionario Salud SF – 36 elaborado por Ware en 1993 utilizado por el autor Ramirez (49), en Perú en el año 2019. La base de datos obtenida lo cual será procesado por el programa estadístico SPSS que brindará resultados estadísticos tanto descriptivos como inferenciales, una de las pruebas que se utilizarán en este análisis será la correlación de Spearman, la cual está diseñada para medir el grado de relación entre las variables lo que nos ayudará con una confianza del 95% a comprobar nuestras hipótesis de estudio o poder concluir en base a ello
