Quality of care of the nursing staff in the care of patients in the intensive care unit of the San Pablo Lima clinic, 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the quality of care of the nursing staff in the care of patients in the intensive care unit of the San Pablo 2019 clinic. Material and method: It is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional investigation, the population will be made up of 10,800 patients who attend the Intensive Care Unit of the San Pablo Lima Clinic, who care for 5 patients daily, where applying the sample formula, 72 patients will be surveyed. The survey technique will be used to collect the information, a Likert-type instrument will be used, with a validity of (0.886) and a reliability of (0.881). For data collection, the instrument used according to the study will be the Caring Assessment Instrument (Care-Q), developed and validated by Dr. Patricia Larson, in her research carried out in Colombia and whose instrument consists of 50 questions that are divided into 6 categories. Their scale scores being Low Level (60 – 120) Medium (121 – 189) High (190-250).

Objetivo: Determinar la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería en el cuidado de los pacientes de la unidad de cuidados intensivos de la clínica San Pablo 2019. Material y método: Es una investigación cuantitativa, descriptiva, de corte transversal, la población estará formada por 10800 pacientes que asistan a la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de la Clínica San Pablo Lima, los cuales diariamente se atienden a 5 pacientes, donde aplicando la formula muestra se encuestarán a 72 pacientes. Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta para el recojo de la información se utilizará un instrumento tipo Likert, con una validez de (0,886) y una confiabilidad de (0,881). Para la recolección de datos se usará el instrumento que se usó de acuerdo al estudio fue el de Caring Assessment Instrument (Care-Q), elaborado y validado por la Dra. Patricia Larson, en su investigación realizada en Colombia y cuyo instrumento consta de 50 preguntas que se dividen en 6 categorías. Siendo sus puntajes de escala Nivel Bajo (60 – 120) Medio (121 – 189) Alto (190-250).
