Knowledge and attitudes about cardiopulmonary resuscitation, in emergency service nurses in a hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine how knowledge is related to nursing professionals' attitudes about cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods: We will work with an applied methodology, under a quantitative approach, of non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population and sample will consist of 82 nursing professionals and two questionnaires will be used as instruments with the survey technique. After the application of the instruments, the data collected, coded and recorded will be captured in a data matrix which will be statistically processed through the Spss 25.0 program using descriptive and inferential techniques, where the normality test will be used to choose the most appropriate statistical test, which will confirm the validity and accuracy of the research hypotheses and thus be able to provide conclusions extracted from the measurement of the research variables.

El objetivo de estudio es, determinar cómo el conocimiento se relaciona con las actitudes del profesional de enfermería sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar. Métodos: Se trabajará con una metodología aplicada, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población y muestra estará constituida por 82 profesionales de enfermería y como instrumentos se usarán dos cuestionarios con la técnica de la encuesta. Luego de su aplicación de los instrumentos, los datos recolectados, codificados y registrados se plasmaran en una matriz de datos la cual será procesada estadísticamente mediante el programa Spss 25.0 utilizando técnicas descriptivas e inferenciales, donde se utilizara la prueba de normalidad para poder elegir la prueba estadística más adecuada, que permitirá confirmar la validez y exactitud de las hipótesis de investigación y así poder proporcionar conclusiones extraídas de la medición de las variables de investigación.
