Mental load and anxiety in the nursing staff of the adult emergency area of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins National Hospital 2023

Abstract

The study will have as Objective: Determine the relationship between mental load and anxiety in the nursing staff of the adult emergency area of HNERM 2023. The methodology: will be hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, applied type , correlational and cross-sectional; the sample will consist of 150 nursing professionals, the technique to be used will be the survey to apply the instruments that will consist of the Subjective Mental Workload Scale (ESCAM) and the Zung scale to measure anxiety, both instruments have the corresponding validity through the KMO index of 0.78 and 0.80 respectively, and a p value of 0.001 through Bartlett sphericity, they also have a high level of reliability through Cronbach's alpha of 0.73 and 0.77; The data collection will take approximately 30 minutes, for each participant, for the analysis the SPSS V25 statistical package will be used, the hypothesis test will be through Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient, the results will be presented in tables and figures, with its corresponding interpretation.

El estudio tendrá como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la carga mental y la ansiedad en el personal de enfermería del área de emergencia de adultos del HNERM 2023. La metodología: será de método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, correlacional y transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 150 profesionales de enfermería, la técnica a utilizar será la encuesta para aplicar los instrumentos que consistirán en la Escala Subjetiva de Carga Mental de Trabajo (ESCAM) y la escala de Zung para la medir la ansiedad, ambos instrumentos cuentan con la validez correspondiente mediante el índice KMO de 0,78 y 0,80 respectivamente, y un p valor de 0,001 por medio de la esfericidad de Bartlett, asimismo cuentan con un nivel alto de fiabilidad por medio del alfa de Cronbach de 0,73 y 0,77; la recolección de la data se realizará aproximadamente en 30 minutos, por cada participante, para el análisis se utilizará el paquete estadístico SPSS V25, la prueba de hipótesis será mediante el coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman, los resultados serán presentados en tablas y figuras, con su correspondiente interpretación.
