Burnout syndrome and its relationship with work performance in nurses working in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the city of Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship of work performance with Burnout Syndrome in nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in the city of Lima 2023. The work is quantitative because the systematic collection of numerical and the analysis of information through statistical processes, since the data collection is used to show the supporting hypotheses and describe the quality or characteristics to determine the result of the role sample. population. The type of research corresponds to a basic survey. Depending on the scope, it will be descriptive, relevant. The design will be used: Non-experimental since the variables will not be deliberately manipulated for the analysis, they will be used in a natural or real environment. The population The study population will be made up of all the nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a Hospital in the city of Lima, which correspond to a total of 85 nurses.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del Síndrome de Burnout con el desempeño laboral en los enfermeros que laboran en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un Hospital de la ciudad de Lima 2023. Material y método: La investigación responde al método deductivo e hipotético deductivo; tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, es aplicada. La población de estudio estará conformada por 85 enfermeros que laboran en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un Hospital de la ciudad de Lima. Este estudio utilizó la técnica de encuesta como métodos y cuestionarios como instrumentos para medir las variables. La herramienta utilizada para cuantificar el síndrome de burnout fue el cuestionario de Maslach y Jackson, el cual fue validado por diversas valoraciones de expertos, indicando una fiabilidad de dimensiones como agotamiento emocional 0,90, despersonalización 0,79 y realización personal 0,71, la consistencia interna de todos los ítems es 0.80. La confiabilidad del instrumento se cuantifica mediante el alfa de Cronbach.
