Nursing professional knowledge about medication administration and its relation to drug interactions in an ICU at Guillermo Almenara National Hospital, 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the level of knowledge of the nursing professional about medication administration and its relationship with drug interactions in an Intensive Care Unit of the Guillermo Almenara National Hospital, 2021. Methods: The research method will be non-experimental, quantitative approach, cross-sectional, observational and correlational design. The population and sample will be made up of 80 nursing professionals, with non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. For the processing and analysis of the survey data, first the information collected will be organized, then the coding of the data will be carried out, once the data has been collected, the data will be organized according to its study variables, the data will be will be processed using SPSS statistical software version 25.0 to generate statistical frequency tables by dimensions and indicators of the study variable; Likewise, the Microsoft Excel Program will be used to prepare graphs and tables.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel del conocimiento del profesional de enfermería sobre administración de medicamentos y su relación con las interacciones medicamentosas en una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara, 2021. Métodos: El método de investigación será no experimental, enfoque cuantitativo, de corte transversal, diseño observacional y correlacional. La población y muestra estará conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería, siendo el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para el procesamiento y análisis de los datos de la encuesta, primero se ordenará la información recolectada, luego se llevará a cabo la codificación de los datos, una vez recolectados los datos se organizará los datos de acuerdo a sus variables de estudio, los datos se procesaran utilizando el software estadístico SPSS versión 25.0 para generar tablas de frecuencia estadística por dimensiones e indicadores de la variable del estudio; asimismo, se usará el Programa Microsoft Excel para la elaboración de gráficos y tablas.
