Knowledge about biosecurity measures and attitude of the nursing professional in the surgical center of a national hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

During health care to the patient, nursing professionals carry out and fulfill functions to reduce the indirect transmission of microorganisms that come from infected patients or from the patient's own environment, which is why biosafety is important in infection prevention. OBJECTIVE: Determine how knowledge about biosafety measures is related to the attitude of the nursing professional in the surgical center of a National Hospital in Lima, 2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: the study will be quantitative, applied type, cross-sectional, correlational. It will be developed in a population of 80 nursing professionals in a surgical center at a National Hospital in Lima. The variables will be measured through two questionnaires. With the data obtained from the surveys in the Excel program; the work will be processed in the statistical program SPSS version 25; the results will be presented in tables and figures; where the contracting of hypotheses will be used the Pearson correlation statistic and thus determine if there is a relationship between the variables.

de enfermería realizan y cumplen funciones para disminuir la transmisión indirectamente de microorganismos que son procedentes de pacientes infectados o del mismo entorno del paciente, es por ello la importancia de la bioseguridad en la prevención de infecciones. OBJETIVO: Determinar cómo el conocimiento sobre las medidas de bioseguridad se relaciona con la actitud del profesional de enfermería de centro quirúrgico de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2023. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: el estudio será cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, corte transversal, correlacional. Se desarrollará en una población de 80 profesionales de enfermería en centro quirúrgico en un Hospital Nacional de Lima. Se medirá las variables mediante dos cuestionarios. Con los datos obtenidos de las encuestas se pasarán en el programa Excel; el trabajo se procesará en el programa estadístico SPSS versión 25, los resultados se presentarán en tablas y figuras; donde la contratación de hipótesis se usará el estadístico de correlación de Pearson y así determinar si existe relación entre las variables.
