Factors associated with intradialytic complications in patients with chronic kidney disease in the national hospital

Abstract

Objetive: Determine the factors associated with intradialytic complications in patients with chronic kidney disease. Methodology: A hypothetical deductive research, quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional and correlational approach will be carried out with a population of 100 patients with chronic kidney disease from the hemodialysis service of the national hospital during the period from July to December 2023. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: Using the survey technique, the data for the study will be collected, with the application of the instrument the questionnaire that is used to collect data that will be obtained from the medical records of the hemodialysis patients; titled “Immediate complications in patients during hemodialysis in a specialty center in the city of Guayaquil.” It is composed of two parts where information is collected on the immediate complications of the patient during hemodialysis and the patient on hemodialysis (sociodemographic characteristics and associated factors). Validated by the authors Benítez R, Cedeño J who measure immediate complications in patients during hemodialysis. Procedures: The application of the instruments for data collection will be during the period from July to December 2023 and will be emptied into the matrix that will be prepared in the Excel program, all items correctly filled out and exported in the SPSS v24.0 program. Statistical Analysis: The Chi - Square statistic will be used for the result, when the variables are crossed it will be possible to analyze and make graphs and tables.

Objetivo: Determinar los factores que se asocian a las complicaciones intradialíticas en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica. Metodología: Se realizará una investigación hipotética deductiva, enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental de corte transversal y alcance correlacional, con una población de 100 pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica del servicio de hemodiálisis del hospital nacional durante el periodo de julio a diciembre del 2023. Técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos: mediante la técnica de la encuesta se recolectará los datos para el estudio, con la aplicación del instrumento el cuestionario que se utiliza para la recolección de datos que se obtendrán de las historias clínicas de los pacientes en hemodiálisis; titulado “Eventos adversos durante la sesión de hemodiálisis en el paciente con enfermedad renal crónica en Hospital II Essalud – Piura, 2021” Validado por el autor Bazán H. Procedimientos: La aplicación de los instrumentos para la recolección de datos se vaciará en la matriz que se elaborará en el programa de Excel llenado correctamente todos los ítems y exportados en el programa SPSS v24.0. Análisis Estadísticos: Se utilizará la estadística de Chi - Cuadrado para resultado, al momento de hacer el cruce de las variables se podrá analizar y realizar gráficos y tablas.
