Burnout syndrome and stress coping strategies in nurses from the emergency service of the Cayetano Heredia hospital, 2020

Abstract

The research work “Burnout Syndrome and Stress Coping Strategies in Nurses in the Emergency Service of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital, 2020” aimed to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and stress coping strategies in nurses in the emergency service of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital, 2020. The study was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational, with a sample of 76 nurses working in the emergency service. The techniques for data collection were surveys, and the instruments used were the Maslach Burnout Inventory to measure burnout syndrome and the COPE Inventory to measure stress coping strategies.

El trabajo de investigación “Síndrome de Burnout y estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en enfermera(os) del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Cayetano Heredia, 2020” tuvo como objetivo la relación entre el síndrome de burnout y estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en enfermera (os) del servicio de emergencia del Hospital Cayetano Heredia, 2020, el estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y correlacional, con una muestra de 76 enfermeras(os) que trabajan en el servicio de emergencia. la técnica a utilizarse para recolectar los datos de la presente investigación será la encuesta y el instrumento que se utilizara será el cuestionario Maslach Burnout Inventory, el cual mide el síndrome de burnout y el cuestionario afrontamiento del estrés se usara el inventario de estimación de afrontamiento (COPE).
