Nursing care of the patient in the preoperative period and its relationship with the level of anxiety in the general surgery service of the national hospital Hipolito Unanue Lima, Perú, 2021

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between nursing care for patients in the preoperative stage and the level of anxiety in the General Surgery Service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital in Lima, Peru, 2021. Material and method: This research is descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational. The population and sample will consist of 58 preoperative patients to be hospitalized in the General Surgery Service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital between July and November 2021, following both inclusion and exclusion criteria. The survey technique will be used, with the following instruments: a preoperative patient nursing care questionnaire, validated by Muro S. in their research, consisting of 20 items grouped into 4 dimensions, and the State/Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI - 1964), which contains 20 statements divided into 2 dimensions with 10 positive and 10 negative items.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del cuidado de enfermería del paciente en el pre operatorio con el nivel de ansiedad en el Servicio de Cirugía General del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue Lima, Perú, 2021. Material y método: La presente investigación es descriptiva de corte transversal y correlacional. La población y muestra estará formada por 58 pacientes en preoperatorio que serán hospitalizados en el servicio de Cirugía general del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue entre los meses de Julio – Noviembre del 2021, considerando los criterios tanto de inclusión y exclusión. Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta mediante los instrumentos: cuestionario de cuidados de enfermería del paciente prequirúrgico, que fue validado por Muro S. en su investigación, compuesta de 20 ítems agrupadas en 4 dimensiones y el cuestionario de ansiedad Estado/ Rasgo (STAI - 1964), comprende de 20 afirmaciones divididas en 2 dimensiones que constan de 10 enunciados positivos y 10 enunciados negativos.
