Relationship between compassion fatigue and socio-occupational factors in nurses in mobile pre-hospital care units Lima. 2022

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between compassion fatigue and social and work factors in nurses in mobile pre-hospital care units in Lima. Material and method: The method that will be applied for the study is the hypothetical-deductive one. The study will be of an applicative type, because its purpose is to implement the findings and thus generate evidence for its application in the development of the activities of the nursing professional, the research design is non-experimental, descriptive, correlational in scope and cross-sectional, the population will be made up of 87 nursing graduates who work in the pre-hospital care system in the city of Lima. For the analysis of the information, the descriptive and inferential statistics of each variable will be used, as well as the chi square test and Spearman's ordinal correlation coefficient. The technique to be used in the aforementioned study will be the survey and the instrument to be used to measure Compassion Fatigue will be the professional quality of life scale (PROQOL-vV) and to measure the socio-labor factors a professional sociodemographic characteristics collection form will be used.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la fatiga por compasión y los factores sociolaborales en enfermeros de unidades móviles de atención prehospitalaria lima. Material y método: El método que se aplicará para el estudio es el hipotético-deductivo. El estudio será de tipo aplicativo, porque tiene como finalidad implementar los hallazgos y así generar evidencia para su aplicación en el desarrollo de las actividades del Enfermería, el diseño de la investigación es no experimental, descriptivo, de alcance correlacional de corte transversal, la población estará constituida por 87 licenciados en Enfermería que laboran en el sistema de atención prehospitalaria en la ciudad de Lima. Para el análisis de la información se usará la estadística descriptica e inferencial de cada variable, así como la prueba de chi cuadrado y el coeficiente de correlación ordinal de Spearman. la técnica a utilizarse en el mencionado estudio será la encuesta y el instrumento a usar para medir la Fatiga por Compasión se usará la escala de la calidad de vida profesional (PROQOL-vV) y para medir los Factores sociolaborales se usará una ficha de recolección de características sociodemográficas profesionales.
