Level of stress and quality of nursing professional care in times of pandemic, San Carlos, Lima 2022

Abstract

The health emergency has exposed many deficiencies, weaknesses, and inequalities in the health system; it is in this context that community nursing faces up to continue providing care to the individual, family, and community. The present study aims to: Determine the relationship between the level of stress and the quality of care of the nursing professional perceived by the patient, in times of pandemic. Study methodology: type of applied research, hypothetical-deductive with a quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design with a correlational scope. Population: 50 nurses and 30 patients. Instruments: there will be two, one for each variable, Nursing Stress Scale and the other Perception of the Quality of Nursing Care.

La emergencia sanitaria a traído al descubierto muchas deficiencias, debilidades y desigualdades del sistema de salud, es en este contexto que la enfermería comunitaria hace frente a seguir brindando cuidados al individuo familia y comunidad. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo: Determinar la relación existente entre el nivel de estrés y la calidad de atención del profesional de enfermería percibida por el paciente, en tiempos de pandemia. Metodología de estudio: tipo de la investigación aplicada, hipotético-deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal con alcance correlacional. Población: 50 enfermeras y 30 pacientes. Instrumentos: serán dos, uno para cada variable, Nursing Stress Scale y el otro Percepción de la Calidad de Atención de Enfermería.
