Knowledge and Nursing Care of the Percutaneous Catheter in the premature neonate in the neonatal intensive care unit of a national hospital in Ica, 2021

Abstract

This research is observational, cross-sectional, and correlational in nature. It will consist of 25 nursing professionals. The entire population working in the neonatal intensive care unit at the National Hospital of Ica will be selected for the application of the instruments. Data collection will use two instruments: a questionnaire to be answered by the nursing professional, consisting of 14 closed-ended questions, assigning one point for each correct answer and zero for each incorrect answer. Knowledge will be evaluated as good (10 to 14 points), fair (5 to 9 points), and deficient (0 to 5 points). The second instrument is a checklist: 'Nursing Intervention in the Care of the Patient with a Central Venous Catheter,' consisting of 14 items, with responses scored as Yes = 1 point; No = 0 points, establishing three categories: good (9-14), fair (5-9), and deficient (0-5). The obtained information will be processed using a data processing matrix with Microsoft Excel. The results will be presented in tables and statistical graphs.

La presente investigación es de tipo observacional, de corte transversal y correlacional. Estará conformada por 25 Enfermería. Para aplicar los instrumentos se tomará a toda la población que laboran en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales de Hospital Nacional de Ica. Para la recolección de datos se utilizará dos instrumentos: un cuestionario que resolverá el Enfermería; 14 preguntas cerradas, colocándole un punto para cada respuesta correcta y cero para cada respuesta incorrecta, será evaluado como conocimiento bueno de 10 a 14 puntos, regular de 5 a 9 puntos y deficiente de 0 a 5. El segundo instrumento es una lista de verificación: “Intervención de enfermería en el cuidado del paciente con catéter venoso central”, constituida por 14 ítems cuyas respuestas Si = 1 punto; No = 0 puntos, estableciéndose tres escalas bueno (9 – 14), regular (5-9) y deficiente (0-5). la información obtenida será procesada por medio de una matriz de procesamiento de datos, utilizando el programa de Microsoft Excel. Los resultados serán presentados en tablas y gráficos estadísticos.
