Knowledge about the safe surgery checklist and compliance by the nursing staff of the surgical center, in a hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the knowledge of the safe surgery checklist and the compliance of the nursing staff of the surgical center, in a hospital in Lima, 2023. Methods: We will work with an applied methodology, under a quantitative approach, in addition to a non-experimental design under a cross-section, working with a sample of 45 workers in the surgical nursing area of a hospital in Lima, 2023 to whom a questionnaire and a checklist will be applied. After data collection, these will be coded in a database made in Excel, and then analyzed by the statistical program SPSS 25.0, which will yield results by variables and dimensions for the descriptive case with tables and figures as the case may be, also provide inferential results with the nonparametric test of Rho of Spearman, which is a test that will corroborate the validity and veracity of the study hypotheses, with which to be able to provide the conclusions reached in the measurement of the study variables.

El objetivo de estudio es, determinar la relación entre el conocimiento de la lista de chequeo de cirugía segura y el cumplimiento del personal de enfermería del centro quirúrgico, en un hospital de Lima, 2023. Métodos: Se trabajará con una metodología aplicada, bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, además de un diseño no experimental bajo un corte transversal, trabajando con una muestra de 45 trabajadores del área de enfermería quirúrgica de un hospital de Lima, 2023 a quienes se le aplicara un cuestionario y una lista de cotejo. Después dela recolección de datos, estos serán codificados en una base de datos realizada den Excel, para luego ser analizada por el programa estadístico SPSS 25.0, lo cual arrojara resultados por variables y dimensiones para el caso descriptivo con tablas y figuras según sea el caso, asimismo brindara resultados inferenciales con la prueba no paramétrica de Rho de Spearman, la cual es una prueba que permitirá corroborar la validez y veracidad de las hipótesis de estudio, con lo cual poder brindar la conclusiones a las que se llegue en la medición de las variables de estudio.
