Level of knowledge and application of biosafety measures in nursing personnel of the central sterilization service of a hospital in Villa María del Triunfo, 2021

Abstract

Objective: To identify the relationship between the level of knowledge and application of biosafety measures in nursing staff of the central sterilization service of a Hospital in Villa María del Triunfo, 2021 Methodology: Quantitative approach, cross-section, correlational design. The population will be made up of 08 Nursing graduates and 22 nursing technicians who work in the central sterilization service, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria the sample will be 100%. Techniques and Instruments for data collection: The survey and observation technique will be used. For the knowledge level variable, the questionnaire will be used as an instrument and for the application level variable, an observation guide will be used as an instrument. Procedures: Data collection will be carried out over 5 weeks, in the Central Sterilization service. Once the information has been collected by applying the instruments, the data will be recorded in a database of the SPSS V25.0 program. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive analysis, frequency tables and graphical representations will be used; To contrast hypotheses and evaluate the level of relationship of the variables under study, the Chi square test will be used, admitting p values ​​< 0.05 as significant.

Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y aplicación de medidas de bioseguridad en personal de enfermería del servicio de central de esterilización de un Hospital de Villa María del Triunfo, 2021 Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo, corte transversal, diseño correlacional. la población estará constituida por 08 Lic. en enfermería y 22 técnico de enfermería que laboran en el servicio de central de esterilización, conforme a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión la muestra será el 100%. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta y la observación. Para la variable nivel de conocimiento se utilizará de instrumento el cuestionario y para la variable nivel de aplicación se utilizará como instrumento una guía de observación. Procedimientos: la recolección de datos se efectuará en 5 semanas, en el servicio de Central de Esterilización. Recolectada la información aplicando los instrumentos, se registrará los datos a una base del programa SPSS V25.0. Análisis Estadístico: Para el análisis descriptivo se hará uso de tablas de frecuencias y representaciones gráficas; para el contraste de hipótesis y evaluar el nivel de relación de las variables en estudio, se utilizará la prueba de Chi cuadrada, admitiéndose como significativo valores p< 0,05.
