Quality of care of nursing staff and its relationship with the level and satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the surgery service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Callao 2024 National Hospital

Abstract

The link between the nurse and the patient is fundamental in all patient care processes; therefore, knowing the quality and level of satisfaction perceived by the user is essential for the continuous improvement of health services provided. Objective: To analyze the relationship between the quality of care of the nursing staff and the level of satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the Surgery Service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Callao 2023 National Hospital. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, non- experimental, correlational study approach was developed, cross section; The population will be made up of users of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Callao 2023 National Hospital, who attended the Surgery Service, who have a total number of 510 people. which will be worked with 93 interviewees. Results. There are ages from 19 to 39 years in 11.8%, from 40 to 59 years in 54.8%, from 60 and older in 33.3%; in Sex there is Female 61.3%, Male 38.7%, in Marital Status there is Married 45.2%, Cohabiting in 37.6%, Single 12.9%; In level of education there is Primary in 29.0%, Secondary 65.6%, Higher 5.4%. In the human dimension with the level of satisfaction of hospitalized patients, there is average quality of care with a regular satisfaction level of 60.2%. In the quality of care of the nursing staff in its technical-scientific dimension with the level of patient satisfaction, there is average quality of care with a regular satisfaction level of 63.4%. In the quality of care of the nursing staff in its environment dimension with the level of patient satisfaction, there is average quality of care with a regular satisfaction level of 51.6%. In the relationship between the quality of care of the nursing staff and the level of patient satisfaction, there is average quality of care with a regular level of satisfaction of 81.7%.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación de la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería con el nivel de satisfacción pacientes hospitalizados en el Servicio de Cirugía del Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión Callao 2024. Metodología: Se desarrolló enfoque de estudio cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional, de corte transversal; La población estará conformada por usuarios del Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión Callao 2024, que acudieron al Servicio de Cirugía, los mismos que tienen hacen una cantidad total de 510 personas. el cual se trabajarán con 93 entrevistados. Resultados. Hay edades de 19 a 39 años en 11.8%, de 40 a 59 años en 54.8% de 60 a más años en 33.3%; en Sexo hay Femenino 61.3%, Masculino 38.7%, en Estado Civil hay Casado 45.2%, Conviviente en 37.6%, Soltero 12.9%; en Grado de instrucción hay Primaria en 29.0%, Secundaria 65.6%, Superior 5.4%. En la dimensión humana con el nivel de satisfacción de pacientes hospitalizados, hay media calidad de atención con nivel de satisfacción regular en 60.2%. En la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería en su dimensión técnica científica con el nivel de satisfacción de pacientes, hay media calidad de atención con nivel de satisfacción regular en 63.4%. En la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería en su dimensión entorno con el nivel de satisfacción en pacientes, hay media calidad de atención con nivel de satisfacción regular en 51.6%. En la relación de la calidad de atención del personal de enfermería con el nivel de satisfacción pacientes, hay media calidad de atención con nivel de satisfacción regular en 81.7%.
