Level of knowledge in the pre-hospital management of the polytraumatized patient in students of the second specialty in nursing of the Norbert Wiener private university, Lima - Peru.

Abstract

One of the main causes of mortality in the population is polytrauma, especially in young people. The Ministry of Health (MINSA) argues that there is a direct association between the involvement of polytraumatized patients with injuries and morbidity. The purpose of the research is to determine the level of knowledge in the pre-hospital management of polytraumatized patients in students of the second specialty in Emergency and Disaster Nursing at the Norbert Wiener Private University, Lima - Peru. The research manuscript presented has a quantitative approach, and is also applied, in terms of its design, it is cross-sectional, descriptive and observational. The sample was given by convenience, due to limited access to sampling, and a non-probabilistic sample of 120 individuals was intentionally taken to examine them. For this study, a survey will be carried out as a technique, applying a questionnaire as an instrument with a Kr-20 coefficient of 0.796 demonstrating acceptable consistency.

Una de las principales causas de mortandad en la población es el politraumatismo en especial en los jóvenes. El Ministerio de Salud (MINSA) fundamenta que se asocian de manera directa el compromiso con las lesiones del paciente politraumatizado y la morbilidad. El propósito de la investigación es determinar el nivel de conocimiento en el manejo pre hospitalario del paciente politraumatizado en alumnos de la segunda especialidad en enfermería de Emergencias y Desastres de la Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, Lima – Perú. El manuscrito de indagación que se presenta posee un enfoque cuantitativo, asimismo, es aplicada, referente a su diseño, es transversal, descriptivo y observacional. la muestra se dio por conveniencia, por el limitado acceso al muestreo, e intencionalmente se tomó una muestra no probabilística de 120 individuos para examinarlos. Para este estudio se realizará una encuesta como técnica, aplicándose un cuestionario como instrumento con coeficiente Kr-20 de 0.796 demostrando una consistencia aceptable.
